Socially Distant Fitness

Is there a weird feeling you haven’t been able to explain? This article from Harvard Business Review helped me realize I wasn’t just going stir crazy.

As part of processing everything, I’ve made it a point to get 30-60 minutes of exercise a day. It clears my head and provides some much needed endorphins.

I have a go-to list of fun and free online workouts. I also keep a few gym accessories on hand for toning routines. If I’m not in the mood for either, I’ll take a government-permitted walk/run around the block.

My basic gym accessories:

RESISTANCE BANDS - Mine is actually from 5 Below. Amazon has so many options.

CORE SLIDERS - Adds an extra challenge to planks. Try reverse planks for a serious burn.

ANKLE WEIGHTS - For the leanest legs and toned glutes. If you’ve never used ankle weights before, this blog has three easy to follow videos.

A new purchase this week I’m loving is this tracker. It has all the bells and whistle of pricier fitness monitors for just $25. It’s been tracking how many (or little) steps I take without issue.
